I've read an interesting news from Reuters today regarding the endorsement of the Senate of the health care overhaul which involves president Obama for couple of months already and been on the news regarding this. It is said that on this bill, the people are required to take a health insurance and will be subsidized by the government to help them to get one. Of course this will be another long debate and actually have been.
Here's what the report says:
A key U.S. Senate committee endorsed a sweeping healthcare overhaul on Tuesday, gaining the support of an influential Republican and delivering President Barack Obama a victory on his top domestic priority.
The Democratic-controlled Senate Finance Committee approved the measure by 14-9, with Senator Olympia Snowe becoming the first Republican in Congress to back a healthcare reform bill. Source: Reuters
This is the news on Reuters where Obama's persistence of health care reform and his point is that taxes will not affect the middle classes but the wealthiest or rich classes people. Here's what the news says:
President Barack Obama insisted he can overhaul the U.S. healthcare system without raising taxes for anyone but the wealthiest Americans, in a media barrage on Sunday as he sought to take control of the debate on his top domestic policy priority.
In interviews with five Sunday television talk shows taped on Friday, he said his goals to expand healthcare and rein in costs would not lead to middle-class tax increases, and that he and his fellow Democrats are determined to pass the legislation despite a lack of Republican support. Reuters
Well if the intention of our President is good and to the benefit of the majority, why not? The health care problem should be dealt with careful attention and study. We should be aware and be very vigilant about this.
I've read this news from Reuters regarding how the people are so worry and reacted on the current health care debate by the government. Its shows how the people are really concerned with the situation of the health care in the country. Here's the said news:
The sound and fury at U.S. "town hall" meetings on healthcare reform have revealed as much about conservative fears of President Barack Obama as about health issues -- and in the end might have little significance in the broader debate.
The angry crowds that disrupted recent public information sessions on the healthcare overhaul have voiced a range of concerns, from an expanding federal deficit to emotional warnings about Obama's "socialist" policies.
The shouting captured media attention and overshadowed debate on the complex details of Obama's top domestic priority, but the furor could limit the influence of the town hall meetings when lawmakers take up the issue again in September.
"A lot of this is the base of the two parties screaming at each other and I don't know if it's changing a lot of minds one way or the other," Republican consultant Dan Schnur said.

People just can't be quite about this issue. Its a major concern that should be resolved and be clarified to the people as soon as the best possible moment. This health care issue should concern every people of the country. Professional caregivers for senior citizens should be also part of this issue.
One of President Obama's "wants" when he started his term as the president of US was the health reform. He wishes that every people of the country should have a health insurance. In this way, he believe that the economy, the country as a whole will have a great reform. However the problem that they are facing right now that some see is that there is a possibility of shortage of doctors in the primary health care system. Here's a report about this issue:
A growing shortage of primary care doctors could place a major burden on the U.S. healthcare system if President Barack Obama succeeds in extending medical insurance to millions of Americans who currently lack it.
As healthcare legislation works its way through the U.S. Congress, most of the focus has turned to how to finance a reform that could cost $1 trillion in the next 10 years and aims to cover most of the 46 million uninsured Americans.
Less attention has been paid to what might happen if millions of new patients join a healthcare system that is unprepared and unequipped to handle the load.
The United States already has a shortage of between 5,000 and 13,000 primary care doctors, according to the Robert Graham Center. Add millions of previously uninsured people and the shortfall will balloon to as many as 50,000 doctors. Read the rest of the story here.
Well, I think this is an opportunity for other countries to work in US but I think they should study this reform agenda first before making it into action. Caregivers should also be checked if we also shortage of it.
